Our company's specialists performed volumetric heat treatment of a reactor with a wall thickness of 65 mm.
The heating was performed according to the high-release mode in order to reduce the residual welded stresses and, as a result, to increase the operational reliability of the welded structure.
According to the technical specifications, the heating temperature was 580-620℃. The reactor was heated using special diesel high-speed burners. The heating and cooling rates did not exceed 77℃. The exposure time was 3 hours.

Out-of-furnace heat treatment by internal heating allows for high tempering of the entire product, and therefore of all its welded joints, simultaneously.
To achieve the desired result, high-quality temperature control and recording devices were used during the heat treatment process.
