Column at the Moscow refinery

Our specialists at the Moscow Refinery conducted out-of-furnace volumetric heat treatment of the vacuum column during the construction of a new oil refining unit.

The total weight of the column is about 450 tons. As a result of the work, the whole column was heated uniformly to a temperature of 600-620 degrees.

The top of the column is 65 meters above ground level.

That is the biggest column, which was heat treated upright in Russia!
