Heat treatment of welded joints is crucial for manufacturing of reservoirs equipment. Not every company has huge furnace. Post welded local heat treatment helps to solve that problem.

Local post welded heat treatment has advantage, even if company doesn't have furnace in required size.

For example, manufacturing of stainless devices requires local heat treatment for austenization of welds. It makes steel heat resistant, protects against intercrystalline corrosion and corrosion cracking. Not every furnace can provide temperature of heat treatment up to 1050 degrees with indispensable heating speed in "dangerous" range from 600 to 800 degrees.

High temperature heating elements are developed even to solve such problems . Such elements are made with size as usual. Their main difference is the heating core. It is made of fehrl - an alloy with a higher operating temperature.
